Perched on the river, this two bedroom waterfront cottage, sleeps six maximum with fold out couch, has spectacular sunsets, large deck, dock and mooring. Reserve this waterfront home in any season. Wake up with expansive views to Pawcatuck River, Little Naragansett Bay, Fisher's Island Sound, Napatree Point, Latimer's Lighthouse, Stonington, CT. Swim, fish and boat all day from the dock or Rhode Island Beaches. Enjoy evening sunsets on the water. In spring and fall, a family of seals sun on river rocks and catch fish. The Kingfisher claims his favorite position on the highest piling to view his prey in the water. Watch spring and fall migration of birds, seals and boats. If you are lucky you will see sea otters. Cottage is ideal for family or two couples, has a deep water mooring, excellent fishing grounds and wonderful sailing waters. Beautiful in all seasons: spring, summer, winter and fall.
Enjoy the charm of Watch Hill Village and Harbor, the beaches, and Watch Hill's many activities with your friends and family. Moor your boat with dock access. Take picnics to East Beach and Sandy Point.
Walk or ride to village shops and restaurants. Partake in festivities: Westerly Chorus Shakespeare in the Park, July Pops Concert, July 4th Fireworks and other events. Sit in the harbor park with an ice cream from the Annex and watch boats in the harbor: Watch Hill 15 Sailboats, wooden Herreshoff Yachts and antique boats.
This is one of the premier Stripped Bass fishing areas on the East Coast. Ride bikes, kayak, canoe, fish, windsurf or sail to Sandy Point in Little Naragansett Bay from your own dock and mooring. Venture to Fishers Island Sound to catch Bluefish at the Race. Swim and sun at a variety of nearby South County beaches: Napatree Point, East Beach and Misquamicut: build sand castles, snorkel, body surf, search for sea shells, hike to Napatree Fort, beach picnic barbeque, troll for fish, dig clams and eat Fort Naps mussels. Enjoy Watch Hill Yacht Club races, fish from Lighthouse Point.
